Somewhere in Paris…

During my Photojournalism days as a student, we learned about the different darkroom techniques for black and white and color development. We would experiment with the different styles of manipulation as we spent hours on end in the university’s darkroom developing and meeting deadlines for our various photography projects.

Each week we would go out in the field in search of not just great shots but of a great story. My assignments would take me to Indian Reservations, Hare Krisha Temples, along streets of LA and around Orange County, Hawaii, Borneo a series of Absolut Vodka advertisements,

We were inspired by Cartier Besson, a french photographer  who is often refereed to as the father of modern jounralim

Here is a collection of random pictures I took whilst recently in Paris with my son and daughter.
